Our support enables employees to address personal and professional challenges, enhance their wellbeing, and promotes happiness and productivity in your workplace. Community groups, cultural organisations and education initiatives are amongst the Scottish organisations who will be able to bid for support from a fund aimed at engaging people in tackling the climate emergency. To develop a greater understanding of this landscape, this Education Workforce Support Project, overseen by ADES and the SG, was created to gain a comprehensive understanding of current practice as to how Tackling teacher wellness in schools education workforce HWB is supported nationally. With all this happening externally and impacting the workplace, organisations understandably invested in wellbeing.
Compared to other sectors, the education sector comes out tops for Strong Relationships. From this review, we identified 3 key strengths. Against this backdrop, workforce resilience is not a nice-to-have, it’s a necessity. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
A key element of this plan is to improve support for children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing in schools. Education Support’s annual Teacher Wellbeing Index measures the stress, mental health and wellbeing issues reported by teachers and school leaders across the UK. The survey findings suggest that access to employer-provided mental health supports is linked to lower levels of job-related stress and higher levels of resilience for teachers.
